No pics this time :\

Thanks to Kathy, Nikki, Isaac, Bear, Moe and pup Mateo for coming out today.

Isaac got lots of weeds extracted from the sidewalk on the west side of madeira near the harm reduction collaborative (https://www.nmhrc.org/). Nikki was up north near madeira/copper with a trash grabber working solo. Kathy and I worked on the small annoying trash hanging along the east side of madeira just north of nmhrc while Moe worked on sweeping up pine needles swirled with mystery trash from the gutters I collected 30 needles in a sharps container and nmhrc will dispose of them.

We piled bags on the west side of madeira and I'll keep an eye out for solid waste since they roll through almost daily.

I'll be back on Sun morning (9-21-25) from 9 until 10. Same deal: trash grabbers, bags, sharps container, a few tools, little bit of cash and a dry sense of humor.

BTW, I have no master plan. I put minimal effort into strict organization on purpose. The city is not with us nor against us. There's infinite work to do, a lot to learn and diverse motivations. Bring some energy to the chaos as we search for meaning together. Or just pickup trash. Either way, I'll keep going out and inviting others to join as frequently as I can stand.

If you can't make the trash pickup, but want to learn more about what my little company (FairWestWork LLC) is doing to spread attention in some of the rougher parts of the neighborhood. Email or call me.
